Build interactive 3D apps from a prompt
Morning, makers, AI Studio now lets you prompt interactive 3D apps with hand tracking and real-world physics. If contracts are on your desk instead, today's workflow shows how to have Claude flag terms that differ from yours.
In today’s edition
- AI Studio adds prompt-built interactive 3D apps.
- Cursor asks customers to update Claude Code.
Prompt a 3D app that responds to your hands
Google AI Studio added XR Blocks support, letting you build interactive 3D apps from a single prompt. The update brings gesture controls and interactions with real-world surfaces into its app-building tools.
- Apps can use hand tracking and pinch gestures.
- Tabletop and wall physics let virtual objects interact with real-world surfaces.
- You can create 360° 3D holograms from text or photos.
What it means Try it if you're prototyping a gesture-controlled 3D experience. Start with one object and one interaction rather than a full app.

Cursor users: update the Claude Code extension
A malicious, modified Claude Code extension reached users through Cursor's extension marketplace. Cursor says the incident affected at most 5,000 users; the malicious version was not developed by Anthropic.
- Cursor asks all customers to update Claude Code for VS Code to version 2.1.314.
- The marketplace was temporarily taken down, then restored after Cursor worked with providers to neutralize the malware.
What it means Start with Cursor's incident guide if you installed this extension through its marketplace, so you can check whether you're affected and follow its mitigation instructions.

Skills For Real Engineers: debug with a repeatable method
- What it does: Matt Pocock's skills give coding agents a structured debugging loop: reproduce the bug, narrow it down, test an explanation, fix it, and add a regression test.
- How to start: In Claude Code, run claude plugin install mattpocock-skills@claude-plugins-official, then /setup-matt-pocock-skills once in your repository. Use /diagnosing-bugs for a bug you can reproduce.

How to check a contract against your terms

Freelancers and small-business owners can give Claude a written set of acceptable terms, then request a clause-by-clause comparison. This produces a first-pass review to discuss, not legal advice or a replacement for a lawyer.
- In a Claude chat, replace the bracketed details and ask it to help define your standards:I'm a [freelancer / small business] in [state/country]. Interview me with 10 questions about payment terms, IP, liability, termination and non-competes. Then write my standard terms as a one-page playbook.
- Provide the playbook and the contract, then request a comparison:Here's my playbook and a contract. Go clause by clause. Table: clause | what it says | my standard | risk (low/med/high) | what to ask for instead. Quote the exact language.
- Ask for a separate list of commitments and questions:List every obligation, deadline, auto-renewal and termination fee in this contract, with the clause number. Then the 3 questions I should ask the other side before signing.
- Use the findings as a first pass. For a significant contract, have a lawyer review it before you sign.
